afternoon with you

sitting in a four walled cocoon
staring at a window without a view
here I try to shake the claustrophobia
with the reflection of afternoon sun
washing the blue sky into orange

now the beginning of end is here
life will complete its full cycle
for another day to come again
and again the thinking of you starts
the time to let go is never ripe

don’t want the nights to last forever
as I will pursue another endless dream
im left behind but your never fading
I try to catch my breath for sanity
but you take the air away with you

nothing I can do im turning blue
my mind is running in light speed
on a never ending razor blade
its not the way my life can take
but nothing to do than to chase you

for I cant stop the thoughts of you
and all I can distinguish are those days
on our own little universe in the garden
you put an irreversible spell on my intellect
the once free soul is now a slave

I will summon the gods of heaven and earth
for there is no cure but to bring you back to me
even just a shimmering yellow dancing butterfly
a glow in this dark clouded diminutive room
as you spread you wings my eyes locked on you

in my abandoned heart you’ll live forever
there is so much love inside of me
that wanted so much to be unleashed
its uncontrollable so I give it away
take it I don’t want it its yours

when you come into my life I give it all
now you are so far yet so near
